The toolkit includes:
An overview of legislative and regulatory expectations for managing associated providers
Sector-wide obligations applicable to all associated provider agreements
A suite of practical tools to support selection, onboarding, induction, and ongoing monitoring
Guidance on conducting file audits, workforce credential checks, training reviews, and collecting client feedback
Templates to promote clear communication, consistency, and audit readiness.
“communicate regularly, and at least monthly, to the persons mentioned in paragraph (c) and subparagraphs (d)(i) and (ii) that disclosures that qualify for protection under section 547 of the Act are welcome”.
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing have released a new Inclusive aged care booklet. This new resource provides essential information to help aged care providers deliver culturally responsive and inclusive services to older people from diverse backgrounds.
