Fuel Supply and Cost Pressures

The Prime Minister's address to the nation acknowledged fuel supply and cost pressures caused by the conflict in the Middle East.

We understand that aged care providers and workers are concerned about how this may impact their services and work. The National Fuel Security Plan is in place to respond to these impacts.

Fuel continues to arrive in Australia. The government is working with industry to reduce supply chain disruptions and ensure fuel gets to where it is needed, particularly in regional areas.

We'll continue to closely monitor the situation and provide information as it becomes available.

CHSP: Recording My Aged Care IDs

Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) providers should now be recording their clients' My Aged Care IDs in the Data Exchange (DEX).

This is a legislative requirement under the new Aged Care Act to ensure government-funded CHSP services are provided to approved clients.

If you are not yet recording this information in DEX, you must ensure your IT systems are ready to support this requirement as soon as possible. This will be mandatory from 30 June.

Read more about DEX reporting changes HERE.
